When we move consistently, our bodies naturally fatigue and muscles tighten. This process is when the change happens. The Feel The Heat challenge works to challenge your entire body, with a specific focus on your inner thighs, arms and shoulders. You are working new muscles through a different range of movements to tone and transform your body.
Tight inner thighs?
Your adductors (inner thighs) are an important (often neglected) muscle group which help to activate your abdominals, stabilise your pelvis and realign your legs and feet. When we strengthen them, it is important to release them, to remain balanced.
Tight shoulders?
Between Mini Arms, Swiss Ball and Magic Circle, your arms will be feeling it this week. Take the time to release your shoulders and chest to avoid tension in your neck.
Let’s start by moving to get the body flowing and blood pumping. A gentle, active recovery is the best way to reset your body and release tightness and imbalances.
Try these three stretches for an upper body release from your wrists to your neck, chest, abdominals and down the sides of your body:
STRETCH ONE
STRETCH TWO
Now for the ultimate inner thigh stretch (plus upper body release) try this:
Mini Stretch 2 – All you need are your discs!
