Introducing our newest series, Fluidform Anywhere, where we interview friends of Fluidform about their recent travels and how they incorporate Fluidform into their holiday.
For our third series, we chat to our very own Kirsten King, who recently visited the Maldives.
Hi Kee, where have you recently travelled with Fluidform and where did you stay?
Soneva Fushi & Soneva Jani in the Maldives. They are two separate islands in the Maldives, offering a bespoke and very special integrated health & wellness experience. The islands are inspired by nature, with luxury and sustainability at the core. The SLOW LIFE philosophy made for an unforgettable experience while treading lightly on the earth.
What are three things you took with you?
My Fluidform equipment pack, Loewe sunglasses and a Christopher Esber swimsuit. Oh and my 3 x bottles of sunscreen!
What are your three favourite Fluidform workouts to do, away from home?
When I’m away, I like to visualise and test new Fluidform at Home programming and workouts. However my all-time favourite holiday go-tos are Mini Barre 12 paired with Mini Abs 26, or Mini Legs 6 which only requires your black band.
What was your favourite post-movement nourishment?
Everything on the island was fresh, seasonal and nourishing which is my favourite way to refuel on holidays. Fresh seafood, salads and fruit smoothies were my go-tos. Sustainability is at the heart of Soneva’s ethos, from sourcing sustainable materials and pioneering ‘waste-to-wealth’ practices, to working with local communities.
How do you stay moving and healthy on holidays?
Soneva is the destination for health and wellness. I spent most of my time bike riding, walking and swimming. The Pilates studio on Soneva Jani was my haven. There are tennis courts too! I felt active from the moment I woke up.
The islands grow their own fruits and vegetables making everything fresh, seasonal and highly nutritious. Each of our resorts have their own organic gardens.
What is your favourite way to unwind on holidays?
Spending time offline, lot’s of walking, swimming and plenty of Vitamin D and hydration. Soneva is an oasis for peace, time and space. Luxury means feeling the sand between your toes or enjoying dinner in nature. Reconnecting with oneself and the natural world, removed from our urban environments.
So, where to next?
Next stop is London for our Fluidform pop-up studio in Soho. I can’t wait to connect with our Fluidform London community, in-person and continue to spread the Fluidform magic!

This is where one-of-a-kind experiences are made every day, and where rarity is remarkably accessible, by seaplane from Malé, or from Dharavandoo International Airport.
Soneva Jani is nestled within the tranquil waters of the Noonu Atoll, where sun-drenched blue skies and azure seas stretch out in every direction.
