It’s love month at Fluidform!
This is how we are celebrating self-love, and all the things we are loving for our mind, body and soul.
ADMIRE
When it comes to self-care and wellbeing, we know all too well the benefits of Vitamin D on our physical and mental health. Vitamin D boosts immune function, improves thyroid disorders and contributes to your overall feelings of happiness. The main, natural source of Vitamin D is sunlight. While we love spending time in the sun, it’s important to practise sun-safety and protect your skin from direct sunlight. Here are 3 ways you can avoid skin damage from sun exposure.
- Wear a hat! My favourite is our Fluidform Summer cap.
- Always apply sunscreen, every 2 hours. My favourites are Ultra Violette’s Queen and Supreme Skinscreens SPF 50+.
- Wear protective clothing & seek shade.
DIGEST
Is your at-home studio in need of a refresh?
Practising consistent, considered movements not only promotes physical benefits, but will help you develop a sense of motivation and commitment, build confidence and experience a sense of empowerment.
Before you roll out your mat, it’s important to ensure you’re equipped with all you need in order to reap the benefits of your practise. While you may not need any equipment at all, I gave Vogue Australia an insight into the key pieces of equipment you can incorporate into your routine in order to help enhance your results.
MOVE
Whether we are in the studio or working out at home, committing to daily movement is our number one self-care ritual.
Do you often feel tightness in your hips and hip flexors? Feelings of stress generally start in our chest, gut and head. Overtime, we start to hold this neglected and recurrent stress in our hips, neck and shoulders. Movement and breathwork work together to both prevent and relieve this built up stress in the body.
Try this workout to create space around your hips, relieve tightness and tension and feel an overwhelming sense of release through your mind and body.
TRY
